These spinners are great eye-catching pieces, but when the lights go out you'll find something more illuminating. With a dark background (outside) and a light reflecting onto the spinners (porch light), you'll see the light reflection through the paint, creating the illusion of rays moving from the center outward and then disappearing. The inside image seams to disappear and reappear as well.
